Hi everybody, during the Rith Banney exhibition’s, I have a video session with my
experimental works.
It’s a project around the link with time and space without starting and
ending point. A lost way to travel.
Hoping I will see you the 31th August @ the Batofar Paris ,7pm to 12pm.
More info:
The concept of this new experience, « Songes Metalliques », is to transform mediums and views throught a series of photographies which ends up by tearing apart perceptions that we may have of this discipline. This reasoning is enforced by a mix of distinct graphic research in which iron, mirror games and lights constitute some of the roots of this exhibition.
Playing with multifaced elements, hard to grasp and made of different materials, lead to other superimpositions of images. For this, Rith Banney doesn’t hesitate to fix; reframe, recut, stick, restick, or to draw… To go even further in this event, Rith Banney has called on artists from varied backgrounds (writers, musicians, plastic artists, dancers, actors…) in order to offer a lecture clue or a personal interpretation of an artwork.
This exhibition will contain brand new texts written by Pierre Henry (Paris / FR), Lydia Lunch (New-York / USA), Tod Ashley (Firewater – Kolkata / INDIA), Black Sifichi (New-York / USA – ECOSSE), Scratchy (London / UK), Pierre Tellier (Paris / FR), Caroline Duris (Paris / FR), Rosko John (Londres / UK), Damny (La Phaze – Nantes / FR), Mat Firehair (Washington Dead Cats – Paris / FR), Julia Kent (New-York / USA), Ori Kaplan (Balkan Beat Box – New-York / USA , Tel Aviv / ISRAEL) , François Bergeron (Paris / FR), Laetitia Dremeau (Paris / FR), Emrick Briand (Paris / FR), and many more…

*This is only the first verse of the song, I highly recommend listening to the full track.

Experience « 3 Dreams of Black » at http://www.ro.me/
« 3 Dreams of Black » is Chris Milk’s new interactive film, created in WebGL with some friends from Google, for Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi’s ROME, featuring Jack White & Norah Jones. The project is a Chrome Experiment (http://www.chromeexperiments.com/) that showcases some of the latest web technologies in modern browsers like Google Chrome.
In building « 3 Dreams of Black », we’ve had the opportunity to build many tools, libraries, and models. We’ve fully opened up the source code and made it available for web developers to tinker with us at http://www.ro.me/tech. In addition to the code, a few other highlights include eight WebGL demos, a fun model viewer for interacting with some of the animals from the web experience, and the Three.js 3D library used for building the experience. In addition, a big part of the project was to define a good pipeline for getting all the animals and environment models right in WebGL — for this, we extended Blender with custom plugins so we could manipulate and export the data with ease.
Time 4 Soul from Tangible or not on Vimeo.
Time 4 Soul is a DJ crew in Paris.
Here’s a short trailer to introduce them.
The goal was to show the unity within this crew with each distinct personality.
Visually, it was interesting to show how the music can be translated through an image. For instance, as the waves emit from the vinyl, the DJ’s motions represent the link between man and music.
It’s a graphic result, without too many details, allowing a clean scene so the viewer can focus on the motion of the music and the dance of the vibrations.
I hope you enjoy this video (please watch in HD).
